Rough Patch

To the people who said to me, 'why do you keep going home, people only go home once a year but you go back twice a year,' with echoing laughter.

BECAUSE I CAN.

Unless you're my friend, it's pretty condescending to say that. I'm studying overseas, far away from my family and most of the important people in my life, wouldn't it be acceptable that I would actually want to go home? And since I can, I will do whatever the heck I want.

That's the thing about our own perspective, people don't get it unless they're in your shoes.
