Flying here and there

It is mildly irritating that the Malaysian Airlines website does not have a monthly view on their airfares. Mildly. Which has led me to go to a travel agent instead. I booked my flight home to the summer hols, burned a hole in my heart that's worse than Australian sunburn. Did I mention that it's summer already right now? #springdoesnotexist

My friend got return tickets on Malaysian Airlines for less than my one way ticket, man I could cry. Feels like getting shot in the heart. No fair man! Why are Sydney to Malaysia tickets wayyy cheaper than Brisbane to Malaysia, isn't it the same distance??

So I spent a bomb on my flights home, but in my defense I am extremely bad at booking flights early, it's a genetic thing cause my dad is also an extremely last minute person, not my fault k. Now I'll have to give up on my dream of flying Singapore Airlines back here :'( I actually once tweeted that my dream is to transit in Changi airport, after that one time I had a layover there for the whole day and it. was. awesome. and Changi airport favourited my tweet. Can I put that on my resume? Changi airport favourited my tweet, that has to be worth something right?

But then again Coles supermarket favourites everything that I tweet to them and they followed my old Twitter account, so maybe it's not worth as much as I thought.. Shucks, fifteen minutes of fame up.

I thought I could be super productive today because I was off to a good start waking up early, confirming accommodation bookings for the year end trip, calling up a ski resort company in Korea to get a quotation, man nervous of me not understanding them, then booking my flight home. But that last one took longer than expected thanks to the system having errors and I sat in the office for half an hour, sorry tutorial I couldn't attend today. Now I feel super guilty. Then work later, because the shop is desperate and is now spamming my phone. But I can't pick up because I'm supposed to be 'in class'. Anyway, good try. A for effort.
