Tonari

One of the best feelings ever is finding hidden food in your room that you totally forgot about, and is totally not expired/rotten/stinky/alive. I just found a pack of Tim Tams in one of my unused bags that completely slipped my mind, because I always carry food around with me, don't judge. Though I also found an orange in that bag, estimating that it's been there since camp two weeks ago.. Do you think I could still eat it? It still looks like an orange.

And oh right my main point:

OHYEAH BEECHEZ ONE OF THOSE LUCKY HUMANS IS ME.

There's gonna be a Studio Ghibli exhibition in Seoul from now till next March, and I'm going in December! Kamisama arigatou!! I hyperventilated when I saw that and immediately forwarded it to my Korea go go go gang (err the name just stuck from our previous trip, cheesy I know), just to make it clear that I am not leaving Korea without going to this exhibition. Period. Fortunately, it's not in an outcast part of Korea and it's pretty much next to our apartment (by about 10kms, close enough). OH OH YES WE FINALLY BOOKED OUR APARTMENT, after months of not reaching a decision until our first choice was booked and we realised we just had to get it over with asap.

Tonari No Totoro, which is literally gonna be my neighbour, geddit? Cos you know I'm gonna live almost next to it, right? And tonari no totoro means my neighbour totoro, geddit? Okay, I'm just gonna let that lame joke go to stop embarrassing myself.

Anyway, I'm super super excited for the Korea trip! Countdown in exactly three months woohoo! But on the other hand, a bit anxious because we pretty much haven't settled anything else besides how we're gonna show up in Seoul one day, and where we're gonna keep warm at night. I mean, the only phrase I know is annyeong, and that's not gonna tell me where the bathroom is, now is it?
